Hand-Painted Enamel Pea Pod Box

This round enamel and metal box is hand-painted with a garden motif, a single open pea pod and curling tendrils rendered in shades of green on a cream lid, banded in a deep rim. The base is glazed a rich green and wraps with a painted vine of cream leaves and buds. Lifting the lid reveals a plain cream interior, ready for small jewelry or keepsakes. A whimsical addition to a vignette.
