A vintage hand-painted Italian ceramic cachepot with a wide scalloped mouth, blue-edged rim, and two striped loop handles. The decoration wraps around the body with loose, expressive brushwork: grapes on one side, oranges on the other, both set against teal and green leaves with red vine tendrils. Marked on the base: Made in Italy for Cottura, by L. Pardi, with the original Cottura import sticker. Cottura was a well-regarded American importer of Italian hand-painted ceramics, and pieces like this are increasingly sought after.

Dimensions: 6"w x 4.5"h x 3.5" inside width

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
