This bowl belongs to the tradition of European decorative porcelain at its most exuberant. Painted on two sides, it carries a full garden bouquet of roses, daisies, and forget-me-nots on one face, and a tender rosebud sprig on the other. Gilt acanthus leaf handles sweep wide from either side in intricate openwork, and gold banding traces every edge and seam. Made in Portugal by Vista Alegre. 

Dimensions: 9"w x 3.5"h x 4"d

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
