A large lidded Iznik jar, hand-painted on a white ground with cobalt and turquoise rosettes, tulips, and carnations winding through leafy scrolls, with a red-and-blue border at the shoulder. The domed lid has a pointed finial and repeats the floral work, and the base is signed Sırrı Soydan, İznik, Türkiye. A ginger jar form for a mantel, shelf, or console. A perfect addition to a blue and white collection.
