A small wood box with an image on the lid of a woman in profile, veiled in a purple dotted odhani and layered in gold jewelry, hands crossed at her chest mid-gesture. Rendered in crushed mineral pigment on a warm gold ground. Framed and banded with pierced brass fretwork.  Inside, a velvet-lined interior gives it a proper jewelry-box feel. A brass pin hinge lets the lid swing back flat. Bottom surface is felted. Made in India. 

Dimensions: 4.25"L x 3.25"W x 1.5"H

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
