A white glazed tureen molded as a woven basket, with a scalloped rim, a handle at each side, and a domed lid modeled with a cluster of shells topped by a large spiral shell. The underside is marked Carbone, an Italian ceramics name. Good as a covered piece for tabletop or holding odds and ends on a shelf in a kitchen or bath.

Dimensions: 11"w (with handles) x 8"h (with lid)

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
